Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the VOID application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Moon Shard Ltd, trading as VOID ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them carefully.

2. Description of Service

VOID is a photo management application for iOS that helps you declutter your photo library. The App allows you to review photos one by one, decide which to keep or delete, and permanently remove unwanted photos from your device.

2.1 Free Tier

The App is free to download and use with the following limitations:

• A limited number of photo reviews (swipes) per day
• Access to Quick Clean, Media Library, and By Month cleaning modes

2.2 VOID+ Subscription

VOID+ is an optional premium subscription that unlocks:

• Unlimited daily swipes — no daily limit on photo reviews
• Large Files mode — find and remove your largest photos and videos first
• Duplicate Photos mode — identify and remove duplicate photos

3. Subscriptions and Billing

3.1 Subscription Plans

VOID+ is available in the following subscription plans:

• Weekly: $4.99 per week
• Annual: $29.99 per year, including a 3-day free trial

Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Current pricing is always displayed in the App and confirmed by the App Store before purchase.

3.2 Billing

• All subscriptions are processed and billed by Apple through the App Store.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• For the Annual plan, you will not be charged during the 3-day free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS device:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Select VOID and tap Cancel Subscription

VOID does not have the ability to cancel subscriptions on your behalf. After cancellation, you will retain access to VOID+ features until the end of your current billing period.

3.5 Refunds

Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policies. VOID cannot issue refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: managing and cleaning your personal photo library. Specifically:

• You may only use VOID to manage photos that you own or have the legal right to delete.
• You must not use VOID to delete photos that you are legally required to preserve (e.g., under a litigation hold, regulatory obligation, or court order).
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• You must not use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• One Apple ID per subscription — do not share subscription access.

5. Photo Deletion

VOID provides safeguards before deletion:

• Queue system: Photos you swipe to "void" are first added to a deletion queue. They are not deleted immediately.
• Queue review: You can review all queued photos before purging by tapping the void portal.
• Undo: Before purging, you can long-press a photo card to undo a recent "void" decision and return the photo to the review deck.
• iOS confirmation: The final deletion requires your explicit confirmation through Apple's native system dialog.
• Recently Deleted: Even after purging, your photos remain recoverable in the Photos app's Recently Deleted album for approximately 30 days.

You bear full responsibility for reviewing and confirming which photos are deleted. We strongly recommend reviewing your deletion queue before initiating a purge. Note that the 30-day recovery window is managed by iOS and may vary based on your device settings and available storage.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, visual identity, brand name ("VOID"), logo, and all associated materials, are the intellectual property of Moon Shard Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the VOID name, logo, or branding without prior written permission
• Create derivative works based on the App

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Deleted photos can be recovered by any means
• The App will correctly identify all duplicate photos

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

• We shall not be liable for any data loss resulting from photo deletions that you authorized and confirmed through the iOS system dialog.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid for VOID+ subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moon Shard Ltd and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your deletion of photos through the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United Kingdom.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through App Store update notes.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
